We assess your case
After the case has been created and we have received the necessary information, a doctor at our head office will assess the case. Based on the information in the medical record, test results and previous examinations, the doctor will decide if the case should be forwarded to one of our specialists, or if you can be referred directly to the treatment site.
We make sure that you are referred at the appropriate urgency. Sometimes it is important to act quick, other times it is advisable to wait so that you can see a medical specialist with the necessary expertise on your illness or injury.
The specialist will assess your case
If the doctor decides that the case needs further assessment, it will be forwarded to one of our specialists. If the specialist finds previous test results or examinations to be unclear, new examinations will be taking. These are followed up by the medical specialist and are included in the assessment. If the specialist deems it appropriate with a new treatment, you will be referred directly to your preferred treatment site.
